Soulstar
is a six-piece band with a soulful singer Marcel Duprix.
The idea of mixing some latin-pop with the repertoire
came up when Pauliina May moved back to Holland April,
2006. This formation has been working succesfully ever
since. The concept of two groovy music styles gives everybody
something. Your guests can enjoy the groove of the band
and the powerful stage presence of two singers till the
late hours!
Party is guaranteed with high quality musicians.

Pauliina May:
Vocalist Pauliina May is widely appreceated versitile
singer and blessed with a stage charisma. She has studied
music in two conservatories, Finland (Pop Jazz Conservatory)
and Holland (Rotterdams Conservatory, diploma 2000) specializing
in afro-cuban music.
Pauliina
May has been working as a lead singer with various bands
from Finland (ex.UMO Big Band, El Septeto, Fiestecita),
Estonia (Estonian Dream Big Band), Romania (Radio Romania
Big Band), Holland (ex.La Banda IrE, Lucas van Merwijk
Big Band, Saoco Salsa Masters) to mention a few. She has
been touring around Europe: Finland, Sweden, Norway, Germany,
Romania, Croatia, Holland, France, Luxemburg, Belgium,
Antillean Islands.
About Marcel Duprix:
Vocalist Marcel Duprix has a long career already behind
as a versitile singer within the world of pop, funk &
soul. His talent as a vocalist has been noticed widely
among audience in Holland, Belgium, France, Spain and
even in Egypt.
This soulful voice and the stage charisma is a blessed
combination.
